Presenter Bio:
Sree Kommana is currently working as Finance Manager/Controller – Supporting departments at Daikin North America, Waller, TX. In her current role she is responsible for managing nearly $100MM in Capital Expenditure related to Manufacturing and New Product Development. She is also Controller for supporting departments like Production Engineering, Tool & Die and Systems Engineering. Previously Ms. Sree was working as Senior Cost Accountant/acting Plant Controller at Goodman Manufacturing, 11th Street, Houston, TX.
Prior to joining Daikin Ms. Sree worked for two of the Big 4s PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Audit and Assurance practice in Houston, TX and Deloitte AERS practice, Dallas, TX. She also worked in Internal Audit department at Valero Energy Corporation in San Antonio, TX. In her previous roles she has experience working as Director of Finance for a small manufacturing firm and also worked as an entrepreneur for a startup firm in Solar industry.
Ms. Sree has extensive knowledge in Data Analytics and helped serve many clients including Marathon Oil, Citi Bank, MD Anderson, Exxon, Schlumberger etc.
Ms. Sree possesses unique blend of accounting, business and information technology skills with a diverse background in Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Financial Services.
Ms. Sree believes in continuous improvement and has CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE and CISA. Ms. Sree has outstanding academic credentials. Masters in Information Systems (MSIS) from Baylor University, Masters in Global Management (MGM) from the University of Antwerp, Belgium and Masters in Business Administration (PGDBM) from Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, India.
Ms. Sree is based out of Houston, TX. Ms. Sree is avid traveler and has been to nearly 20 countries and likes to swim in her free time.
