It is a privilege to serve as your Chapter President, and I am excited to begin this new chapter alongside an incredible team of board members who are passionate about supporting our accounting and finance community.
Houston is home to a diverse and dynamic network of professionals, and my vision is to make our chapter a place where members at every stage of their careers feel connected, inspired, and supported. Whether you are a student exploring the profession, a CMA candidate, an emerging leader, or a seasoned executive, our goal is to provide opportunities to learn, build meaningful relationships, and grow both personally and professionally.
Throughout the year, we will be offering engaging professional development events, networking opportunities, and presentations from industry leaders covering topics that matter to today's accounting and finance professionals.
Beyond earning Continuing Professional Education (CPE), we want our events to foster genuine connections, encourage the exchange of ideas, and strengthen our local professional community.
We also recognize the important role the CMA designation plays in developing confident, ethical, and strategic business leaders. Supporting current and future CMAs through education, mentorship, and professional networking will continue to be an important focus of our chapter.
